TAKE STOCK- PSALM 103:1-5

One of the biggest mistakes we make in life is our refusal to take stocks periodically, hence most times we complain against God unnecessarily because we cannot see what great things He has done in our lives just because we have refused to see and count God's blessings in our lives. Many things happen on our blind side courtesy of God.



Taking stock is the act of taking a critical look at one's life or business, in Christian parlance it referred to as counting your blessings, its high time you name your blessings one by one, a surface look may not reveal the exact depth of the faithfulness of God in your life hence the need for you to take stock. Whatever attention is not paid to may not be identified, in our focal scripture Jacob said surely the Lord is in this place and I know it not. Could it be that the Lord has been good to you and you do not know it?

As life progresses on a daily basis and now especially that we are in the second half of the year, there is the need for us to take stock of where we are coming from and where we are, that way we will be able to fully appreciate what God has done for us.
Ignorance is not an excuse for ingratitude. Take a stock friend and give thanks.
