THE RULES OF SUCCESS - John 9:4

A fundamental truth I have discovered which many are ignorant of around here is that life is not about doing a job to earn a living, it is doing the work of Him that sent you to have fulfillment, earning a living is secondary and it naturally comes when purpose is being fulfilled.


There is a difference between a job and work, those who do just job hardly ever have joy or fulfillment because the motivation is basically to earn a living, while work is working out your potential and gifts with passion hence earning a living in the process. Jesus said I must work the works of Him that sent me, friend! There is an area you have been sent to, there is a unique purpose you are sent to fulfill.

Outstanding men celebrated the world over do not just get to the peak of any career, they actually chose a career in their area of passion and giftedness, hence their job brings them joy and fulfillment. The class of those who really thank God for Friday are the workers who are just earning a living with their job, those who thank God for every day are people who live working in their gift and passion. For the young especially, don't sentence yourself to a life of doom just earning salary without joy, find out your gifts, passion and callings, you will live life with so much joy.
